Print concept for Skullcandy earbuds

Full Range Sound with Zero Cavities

A fun little concept I thought up for Skullcandys earbuds a couple years ago. I really enjoy working with and styling props in the studio. My goal was to give the image an almost cartoon look. And yes... I might have eaten the props after. I shared.

Smooth

This weeks challenge involved digitally spreading cream cheese...smooth! Had fun with food styling for this commercial photography assignment. I initially went with pumpernickel bagels for more contrast pop with the white cream cheese, happy with the final edit.

A little editing fun.

A couple of my favourites from the past semester at Fanshawe! I've really been enjoying playing around in Photoshop throughout the past year. Lots of inspiration from the creative world of advertising.

Below you'll see a Heinz ad that i recreated for a 'Kopy Kat' assignment. Though I can not take credit for the original composition, I did recreate the shoot from scratch and completed all the edits myself. Love the way it turned out and it actually won me a Distinguished Achievement award at this year's Photography Awards Gala! Very proud.

I had a lot of fun hand drawing the smoke effect in the Dior image below. Can't wait to experiment more with similar effects over the next year.

Warhol Inspired

I am a big fan of Andy Warhol and his innovative work. As an aspiring commercial photographer I was happy to work on this assignment with my good friend Megan. It was a fun challenge working with bubble gum. I'm sure Megan would be happy never having to be a gum model again.. I think we went through a pack of Hubba Bubba and maybe 100 different bubble shots in an hour.

Eleven Hundred

Cloudy days can be perfect for shooting reflective surfaces. The light hitting the detailing on this motor created great contrast!

The Still Life, Life

Like many graphic design projects I work on, I like to create clean monotone images. Here is a picture of some eggs I took in studio. The soft light falling on the eggs creates a nice gradient across the various rounded shapes in the shot -  something I want to explore more of.
